talking about this time last year,the memories are flooding back can anyone still feel it.

I was waiting for kick off yesterday sitting at my brother's house, thinking - last year at this time we were in teh stands waiting for Manly to flog Melbourne.

We should have been there instead.

The team should have been at the Grand final and Des should have been saying over and over to them 'You're all a disgrace. You should have been here. Think about that next year, not about how good you were a couple of years ago, but about failing and how much that sucks you big bunch of girls.' Or something like that. 😀

That is almost exactly what Des did say to them. I know because I found the notes he made for his speech on a discarded fish and chips wrapping. He also said, "there will be big changes next year, no more Mr Nice Guy, and hope you all have a happy xmas and safe new year, god bless. Sorry."

I had to drink lots of beer to make yesterday interesting, now Im working ona  public holiday and wished I hadn't drunk so much beer
