So how do you rate the Chooks attack? Apparently they are 'the real deal'.

It was a great win for them at Brookvale last night, they showed real heart. They played with 12 men most of the match and 11 at the end, SBW contributed zero, he doesnt like it when it gets tough unlike Friend, JWH, O'Donnell etc

How did they play most of the match with 12 men? I thought JWH was sent with just over ten mins to go?

I believe he is suggesting that SBW was so ineffective that it was as though they were down a man.

Souths would have put 50 on the Chooks last night, Its embarrassing that we let them beat us.

How is it embarrassing when we had five players out. You think if the chooks had Minichiello, JWH , Cordner, Moa and Kennedy all out they would have won?

Agree Bones. They were ordinary and we had 5 out.We played with the usual courage.Funny how the Tigers are basically being excused for getting flogged each week while no one even mentions our injury toll.

But it is what it is and you have to play with the cards dealt and the ridiculous way we are using our players at the moment simply gives us nothing in terms of peaking at the right time which history says is crucial. If any of our run on pigs have any petrol by RD 24 they are supermen.

Ahhh...so that's why Sao didn't get a run with us last night ;)

From where I stood last night it seemed that we lacked the composure to win. We looked desperate and hurried, and so, lost composure and finess. Hurried passes, lost possession and loose tackling let the crooks have that game. Just who was calling the shots? Glenn kicking on the third wtf? He needs to be sat down and told to run straight, and make his tackles. Good things to come out of the game was our line defense, Lawrence's speed and Hikus game. Apart from that last lost ball he was solid and made a couple of nice small breaks. Lawrence was our best. Horo owned $bw.

rooters are a big team and would have been very tired by the end of the game had they not been allowed to slow the play the ball down to almost snail pace, that had to be one of the most boring games in a while. In most games we would have been penalised about 50 times if we had rolled around in the ruck like that.

Its embarrassing because the Roosters were average at best. Our issue was not having players out anyway, its our lack of composure. That game was there to be won and with the quality of our halves and centers we should be making better decisions.

SBW standouts for 80 mins against the weaker teams... maybe our defense kept him quiet ... though a couple runs he did were impressive.

If SBW wasnt effective as his known , neither were a few of our players...

They are like Manly have a lot of strike power in the backline but are unable to get it firing. It will happen for both teams. They did to us what Souths did two weeks ago.

From what I saw last night, they will be the toughest team to beat in September/October. Have a better all round roster than both Souths and Storm and plenty of improvement in them.

I was proud of Manlys effort, they never stopped trying. Horo, Lawrence, Watmough, Ballin, Stewart and Kite all worked hard. We really missed Symonds.

Buhrer must get more match time.

What has happened to our dummy half running. Matai, Ballin and Buhrer need to get the Storm on the back foot in defence next week.

Well said.
