Ashes off and running...but....I fear I have entered the cranky old bastard phase of my life. Always loved test cricket. Love the one-dayers, and blimey, also embraced and enjoyed the T20’s. But....what is with the names and numbers on the back on the players shirts in the Ashes??? FFS...they are out there for 7 hours a day x 5 days over 5 tests. Do we really need to see that ****? Everyone knows who they are, their names are on the scorecard, at the game and on TV. FFS, a bit of tradition and decorum pleeeeease!
