well  i just put a bet on PNG 1st try scorers..  hopefully the inept refs help their cause  & mine ;D

Inept ref, singular. International rules, so only one ref. Although you could count the video ref, the touchies etc, hence refs.

I think the refs were actually ok, some harsh calls, but a lot better then the ref performances we've seen this year at Manly games.

Sure, the PNG side could have been given some leeway but Rules are Rules!

Yeah but the refs in the nrl so rarely go back to an advantage offside when the attacking team stuff up with the ball - very occasionally. This ref did a couple of times when he could have easily let it go.

In comparison the Aussies were off their line very very quickly a number of times and could've been pinged but weren't.

aww well  , i just wonder how the aussies would have scored their 1st try if they didnt get that flukey rebound of the uprights..because they were getting smashed  by the kumuls...

actually their 1st 3 tries were lucky , like they needed luck..
