Yesterday was classic Barrett.

He put the big bench prop on for the last 8 minutes.

He put walker to fullback when Tom got concussed.

Marty was off at crucial times, and for some reason was defending on the left sometimes.

Losing Tom was a blow, but it is clear that while Wright is no world beater, he has performed well and safely as a back-up fullback quite a few times over a few seasons.

The clear choice yesterday was wright to fullback, oddkinson to 6, walker to centre, suli to wing. Keep Taupau in the middle when he’s on, and rotate the bench forwards.

So true. His selections stank.
We all knew by mid-season that Parker was not a First Grade winger. Yet here we have Twenty continually selecting him and lamenting that yesterday Parker just had "one of those days".
No! He's not good enough ATM and we needed to try other options. Tevita Funa and Tom Wright may have a future but we never found out. Both players should have been considered for at least the last three matches.
Playing Tent for 10 minutes was a complete waste. Plus times during the season when he didn't use all of the reserves.

We conceded over 600 points this season and more than any other side. Shameful and not once was there any acceptance by Barrett for his failure as the coach! A real lack of character in my book!

Clearly this situation is untenable, and if if Barrett is still coach for Day #1 of pre-season training then we are in even more trouble than I thought.

But seriously Penn family. Do not pay out this charlatan coach. Sue him instead. He's poisoned the club by publicly badmouthing it to future coaches and players.

If he wants to resign then he can resign. Good riddance. But he wants his cake and to eat it too. Make him run the water at Blacktown. Wont be good for team morale but lets face it with the mess he has left us in we are going to be in a spoon battle next year anyway so who cares.

Penn's need to stand on their digs and not give this worm an extra cent that he doesn't stay and work for.

Seibold was an assistant with Souths last year. He was at Manly in 2016.

Seibold was our defence coach in 2016 and we leaked a heap of points. He is obviously an excellent coach and it highlights the fact that an assistant can only do so much, it really hinges on the quality of the head coach. In that sense, maybe Cartwrong is a chance? (probably not but hoping). I hope his failings at the Titans were to do with their pretty ordinary roster and inability to sign marquee players or produce outstanding local talent...at least Manly have that going for them.

Trent was head coach and had the final say . The final say led him to fall out with the Incomparable Immortal because he wanted to do it his way and in the end his way proved to be incompetent .
Trent listens to no one but his wife and Phil Gould .
In 2017 when we were 6th we were easily knocked out in the first game and it was a sign of things to come in 2018
