Thought I'd start this early but expect it to get ramped up a fair bit after Wednesday night.

Things to discuss.

Will the Bronco's be at full strength?

If so (or not) can we beat them?

Are you going and if so where are you seated?

Are you going to the official post match function?

Doubt they will have full strength after resting many with the test, i expect similar here.
They are playing with great enthusiasm atm but my money will be where my mouth is- Seaeagles win.
Friend got tickets halfway for game but keen to get to post game function - any tickets left Mark???
Hope a few from here get to pregame casino for some drinks & maybe a win!! And of course after post function out in Bris Vegas to party on!!

NO tickets left in my allocation (the MWTS group is in Bay 301), there's 120 of us in there now wish I had bought 150...oh well can't be helped.

Suggest if you haven't bought a ticket yet to the game head for Bay 725 up where the rest of the Manly supporters "should" be.

I can probably squeeze a few more into our pre game function at the Caxton Hotel (at cost) e-mail me if you are keen to join us MK (or anyone else)...this goes from 4.00pm to 6.30pm.

No unfortunately, would be too late a night for number 1 son as we have an early start and a big day the next day as well so maybe a quiet (!) celebratory cold one at the Caxton post Manly game and then home to bed. (BTW the Official post match function sold out a long time ago so for any waifs and strays looking for a friend after the game then head there? (The outside bar/carpark bar))

By the way...Other info:

There are a few heading up from Sydney on Friday morning on flights around 11.00'ish – As usual, if you're looking to catch up pre-flight aim for the food hall at domestic (Macca's end)

For those not familiar with travel to Brisbane games - the train from the airport is a quick and easy way to get to town http://www.airtrain.com.au/

Pre-game at the ground there are plenty of food and beverage options around so you'll have no problems finding them especially on Caxton (but remember it is a double header and the whole area is likely to chockers?)

In the local area Park Road in Milton is an option if you want to eat/drink prior to the game but away from the stadium http://www.ourbrisbane.com/food-and-drink/dining-precincts/milton (Funnily, It’s where I first met Mark before a Manly Brisbane game a million years ago...)

See Mark's post on page 1 of this thread if you want to join us at the Caxton for the MWTS pre-game get together – Important note: You will need to pre-register for this and pay prior as there will be no sign ins or walk ups on the day and there are apparently few tickets left (Again, the whole area around Suncorp is going to be mad busy - this is the best way to get a good feed and a relaxed drink and get revved up for the game with other Manly fans in a relaxed and secure area before the game so definitely the place to be?)

I'd concur with Vid the whole area will be madness (as it will be tomorrow night when we roll up for SOO 1).....I don't think the game is a sellout BUT I have been to the last 2 or 3 double headers up here and it's not uncommon for them to have 50,000 plus attend, so not really much different to a normal SOO night.

Caxton Car park pre game will be total madness, but I'd expect that's where a lot will be (that are not coming to my pre game shindig).

I can fit a few more in (not at the door as we have to add extra catering if you book now and there won't be enough food for another 10 if they just turn up on the night) at the MWTS pre game get together at the Caxton Hotel....its $55.00 and includes a heap of food and your first two drinks.

The Hotel LA (at the top of Caxton Street and on the corner of Petrie Terrace and Caxton) is another spot to head.

There are other bars along Caxton Street but they will be dearer (drinks wise) so perhaps stay clear of them.

If you want a less noisy place Park Road in Milton (easy to get from there to Suncorp as Park Road runs off Milton Road and Suncorp faces Milton Road) is a good spot, lots of restaurants along there and much slower pace.

One more option is the Paddo...the Padington Hotel further up Caxton Street and on the western side of Suncorp, still crowded but just a further option to consider, if you come in from the city just walk down Caxton Street, past Suncorp (on your left) and a little further up you'll find the Paddo!!

And there's always "Love and Rockets" in Petrie Terrace...you can Google that, probably better AFTER the game than before the game.
