Does anyone else find it strange that after a few months ago when Beaver re-signing was splashed all over the back pages of our daily newspapers he has still not actually re-signed. Every second artical in the papers since then has had a quote from Grant mayer saying they are 'very close to finalising his contract for 2008' yet no result so far. On top of this we are pushing the limits of our cap already with Williamson looking to be pushed out the door only to be now resigned for the next 2 years.
If they win the grand final on Sunday does anyone else get the feeling that he will call it a day and go out on a high? If so i hope that the boys rip the **** out of the mexicans this weekend and he scores the 60 or whatever tries it is to take 1st place as the all time try scorer in rugby league.
