Ben Hannant unloads on Griffin

Soward spoke in this same vein

Hook is similar to 2v, expecting players to take ownership of their performance and not fussed about hand holding :nerd:

It’s funny that guys who were average at the time and subsequently got dropped have it in for Griffin.

Hannant believes that ancient Jews built boats and sailed to America. Hannant believes that in 1978 God changed his mind about black people. He believes that God lives on a planet called Kolob, that Jesus has his own planet as well and that the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County, Missouri.

Not sure I trust his views on Griffin.

Lol

His religious beliefs have what to do with his abilty to judge a footy coach?

You know, given he played around 200 first grade games and has been coached by the likes of Bennett, Sheens, Green etc.

I think he has a pretty good idea of what makes a decent coach despite his belief in imaginary ghosts.

It shows his inability for critical thinking. Then consider the fact that Griffin dropped Hannant, and you have to question whether his criticisms have come from reasoned thought or it’s just an emotional lashing out.

And for what? So their founder and his ilk could have multiple wives. The elaborate lengths some men were prepared to go to, to spread their seed.

The Bronco's sacked the bloke. Players were not happy under him. Fact.

He didn't drop all the players that are not keen on him.

Anyway, the bloke clearly has issues coaching first grade NRL teams.

I could care less what a blokes religious beliefs are as to their merits on judging a coach when they have been coached by the best around.

Let me know which players aren't practicing Christians so I know who is worth listening to....

If true, this would put a bit more weight into what Hannant says. You saying “fact” doesn’t add any more weight though.

Yeah the mighty Panthers, always a force, are down in the doldrums. Equal fourth.

Bully for you.

Mormonism is much kookier than Christianity. Not sure why you’re so hung up about this anyway, it was mainly meant for a laugh, especially for any Book of Mormon fans out there.

Hahaha mate I live in Brisbane. It was widely known Griffin had issues with a number of players.

The postion the Panthers are in is irrelevant to whether or not Griffin has issues with players he coaches. The results there are a testament to their depth and talent, not Griffin.

Gotcha. Mormons are not to be listened to. And I "hung on it" because you raised it.

Oh well, Griffin is sacked, gets a bucket load of cash and lives to fight another day.

He seems like a nice enough bloke. Should try going back to junior footy coaching where he had success.
