But he seems like a nice bloke from his NRL 360 interview, so we should be hiring him.....according to some in the other Griffin thread.

There is a reason he has been sacked from 2 clubs now.

Sounds to me like it has not much to do with wanting players to take responsibilty and more to do with no actual gameplans and thinking he is coaching a team in 1982.

Hannant believes that ancient Jews built boats and sailed to America. Hannant believes that in 1978 God changed his mind about black people. He believes that God lives on a planet called Kolob, that Jesus has his own planet as well and that the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County, Missouri.

Not sure I trust his views on Griffin.

You know, given he played around 200 first grade games and has been coached by the likes of Bennett, Sheens, Green etc.

I think he has a pretty good idea of what makes a decent coach despite his belief in imaginary ghosts.

Yeah that came through loud and clear, but it was a great interview and he did articulate very well why he was making the points he did. I have a mate that played for Griffin at Redcliffe and loved him.

Let me know which players aren't practicing Christians so I know who is worth listening to....

Hahaha mate I live in Brisbane. It was widely known Griffin had issues with a number of players.

The postion the Panthers are in is irrelevant to whether or not Griffin has issues with players he coaches. The results there are a testament to their depth and talent, not Griffin.

Gotcha. Mormons are not to be listened to. And I "hung on it" because you raised it.

Oh well, Griffin is sacked, gets a bucket load of cash and lives to fight another day.

He seems like a nice enough bloke. Should try going back to junior footy coaching where he had success.
