So what was Whare's motivation for declaring that the Penrith team have been listening to Ciraldo over Griffin for most of the season?

I guess the entire squad were either dropped by Griffin or its a Morman cult......

"He didn't lose my support, I had no issues with Hook," Maloney said.

Justin Hodges said Hook was a good coach, and he’d rather Hook to Gould any day of the week.

Did you even read Whare’s comments? Hardly scathing.

“I think Ciro is a little more vocal than he (Griffin) was,” Whare said.

“(Griffin) hadn’t really lost the sheds, just the way the boys responded to ‘Ciro’ and to ‘Hook’ was a bit different.

“The way he directed us as an assistant coach, especially in attack and the way we run around.

“Overall, Hook took over everything else and sort of sat back and let Ciro take over”.

So we’ve still only got kooky Hannant, a channel 9 employee probably looking for a contract extension taking Gould’s side, dropped by Griffin, saying Griffin is terrible vs Maloney and Hodges who have been around the traps and known not to mince words saying Hook is a decent coach.
