Good article. I agree with what you said. Bonus points are a no for me. I also believe we need to stay away from draws if possible as the field goal fest will just strat in the 75th minute, not in extra time. Instead, we should have 2 halves of 10 mins extra time. The team with the highest score after this 20 mins is the winner. If still a draw, then 1 point each.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned extra time. They keep saying golden point, or golden try. Neither of these are good. The worst is the taking a player off every minute.

Actually it was.

The rugby BP system isn't for me either.

I'd still happily accept the nhl system, although they can have shoot outs so some tweaking needed.
