Met Steve Lyons at Townsville - The officials (Touchies and Gavin Badger) plus Sean Hampstead were staying at the Mercure Inn where we were staying for the Cowboys game.
Good set of lads, were great with the kids (Even when young Sam asked "Mr Bean can I get your autograph please?") and had a few beers after the game.
Lyons lives in Mona Vale but grew up up in Curl Curl and was a regular at Brookie - BUT will tell you he is NOT a Manly fan now......(if you know what I mean...)
