    Bowen would be out of action for quite a while with a injury like that i would think ?

    nah Broken ribs heal pretty quickly especially if you treat them ok. I broke my ribs 2 years ago whilst playing soccer, I played the following week and trained as well. It was painful but you can hold them and it seems to take the pain away a fair bit

    Well the article says just a month, but I have heard elsewhere two months.

    Without hijacking the thread, I would suggest it's somewhat more difficult to play NRL with broken ribs than park soccer.

    Bani is playing this weekend. 

    Bowen's injury may just help Manly move into the eight.

    And David Williams' famous try-saving tackle on Lachlan Coote looks to have put Coote out for the season, which doesn't hurt our chances either.
