Can we add the page numbers to the top of the threads?

This new layout is terrible, if I am navigating backwards through a multi page thread I have to scroll up then scroll down to navigate to the previous page. Very poor design. Ditto for when I want to jump forward more than a page one I scroll to the bottom of a page

I feel that the ad placement needs to be addressed as well. I don't mind contributing advertising revenue to this site by disabling ad block plus but not if I cant use basic functionality like being able to post comments because the ads overlap the buttons.

That definitely shouldn't be happening, I will look into. There are some auto placed ads and that is probably what is going on until the googly machine fixes its placement algorithms
