I suppose it's a common thread elsewhere but it looks like it's "us V the rest of the world" on Sunday.

Todays Courier Mail (sorry can't see the story to publish on here) inside back page (full page) of crap from this News Ltd Manly hating "Hack" about how the whole of Australia should be supporting the Kiwi's over the hated Manly Sea Eagles.

It's total rubbish and is the most one eyed piece of writing I have seen for a long time, this bastard must really hate us he hasent stopped writing crap about us for weeks now.

Probably just jealous because we have a better side that knocked his TWO Queensland sides out of the race.

Great to see your Sports reporter Ben Dorries at it again, this anti Manly Sea Eagles hatred coming from the Courier Mail is starting to get very tired. There’s a legion of Sea Eagles fans in South East Queensland who are sick and tired of the vitriol coming from this writers pen. We are Queenslanders, we buy the Courier Mail but we are Manly supporters as well and are very proud that our team has made the Grand Final and in a week when we should be celebrating the successes of both sides it’s disappointing to see such hatred coming from Ben’s pen. Perhaps he’s just dirty that we knocked out both of his Queensland sides to progress to the big one. Time to give it a break Ben and celebrate what will be a wonderful game on Sunday afternoon.

His biased and hatred is clear. I get the Courier delivered to me daily, yesterdays had one or two ok stories,

But front page had a little box and back page a big write up, on how disgusting it is that Matai and Williams were let of

"Grand Final Farce" or something is was titled. It was all about Manly hatred for about 3 pages. I enjoyed reading it then trashing it.

This mornings has back page on Hoppa, big photo, small story then the rest is about McGuire being selected but a Samoan, like anyone cares, he is in the train on squad and extremely unlikely to get a run anyway

Just registered as a Silvertail. I too am disgusted at the hyperbolic rubbish espoused by Ben Dorries. Here is an email I penned after two weeks ago I read his crap about game attendance's:

Bigotry. It's a word you may not be aware of but one which you should know being a journo and all. Or are you? It would seem after reading your tirade about Manly on the 13th of this month, you really are just another ridiculous writer for the Courier Mail, specialising in hyperbole and state sensationalism, which unfortunately does you no credit as a serious writer. There are two sides to every story and your absolute refusal to present anything to your parochial readership, but what they want to hear, is frankly just too easy. I would really like to discuss this with you, and invite you to a beer over which we might discuss your need to debase blindly anything which is not related to Qld. We need to discuss what journalism really is, and the responsibility of those in the 'profession', to report with responsibility. But I also believe the sports writers for the Courier Mail create way too much hyperbole, mostly designed to create hype and reader's excitement for State of Origin to ignite rage at the games. Such rhetoric makes personal attacks of supporters and players of southern based teams (and those teams only - never Qld), and all I see is unprofessional bias.
