Frogs had that perfect running style but I really noticed Walker on Friday.

His flat start to full speed took about 3 strides.

Think that was Reg but he was a sprint coach I dunno if he played for us but was with the club in the 70s. His son Greg played with us.

Ken Irvine would wipe the floor with all of em mate. Held a world record at some stage for a pro sprinter. Professionals were not allowed to compete with amateurs in the old days. Was lightning but.

I heard an interview with Mike Cleary once and I swear he said he had a race against Irvine at wenty park or somewhere like that and got him but I can't find it anywhere.
Someone might know about it.

Yes that was held at Harold Park if i remember. Cleary won bet Kenny was past his best. Just looked it up. At on stage Irvine jointly held the world professional record @ 9.6 seconds. Noe thats motoring.
