Parramatta five-eighth Dylan Brown has been charged with five counts of sexual touching without consent after an alleged incident at a Double Bay hotel on Saturday night.
Brown, one of the highest profile players at the Eels, was the subject of a complaint to staff at the Golden Sheaf pub late on Saturday night.

NSW Police confirmed that Brown is due to answer the charges at the Downing Centre Local Court this week.
“About 11.40pm yesterday officers attached to Eastern Suburbs PAC were called to a hotel on South Head Rd at Double Bay following a report of sexual touching,” a police statement read.

“Police arrested a 22-year-old man. He was taken to Waverley Police Station where he has been charged with sexually touch another person without consent.
“He was granted bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday, June 7.”
The Eels have had the bye this weekend and play the Bulldogs next Monday afternoon. The club has been contacted for comment.
More to come.

I doubt it, but surely it derails the clubs hope this year. He is engaged to the coaches daughter I believe
Wow, if true the Arthur family will be having a difficult weekend.

Interesting that there are 5 charges, if each charge carries a max term of say 3 years. Does 5 x 3 years make it fall under stand down rule?

I don't think so, I wonder if it's the same person or 5 different ones. I guess we could give them Cooper John's to help them out

Based on the definition of sexual touching, Section 61KC of the Crimes Act 1900 states that any individual who sexually touches another person without their consent faces a maximum penalty of 5 years imprisonment.
