EPIC GAME

It was a game where all the experts quite rightly predicted the premiership favourites and established Storm team to win

Who would believe that a team like the Manly Sea eagles in its only first season of its rebuilding stage could beat the top of the table team flying high on the ladder on 32 points at home after having rested its rep and marquee players .

Who would believe ? ................ The only ones that matters !!!.................. and that is Des Hasler and his Manly Sea eagle players .

Tonight seeing was believing and I am sure we will have more followers that will now believe that Our Manly Sea eagles team is a worthy Premiership contender

The believers will now flock over to our home games and fill our stadium with faith in our Manly Sea eagles team

Have faith in our team feathered freinds . We are going places !!!

As I said in the Game Day thread.....tonight's was the best game of league I've seen since the test at Old Trafford on the 1990 Kangaroo Tour.

Interesting fact. Although they didn't get off the bench during the game (Bozo didn't use any of his bench actually. Greg Alexander and Mark Sargent didn't get on the field either)......both Des and John Cartwright were on the bench for the Kangaroos that day. The only Manly player on the field that day (other than Kevin Ward for the Poms, though he was back at St Helens by then) was Cliffy on debut. Rowdy too I guess but he was playing for the Drongos at the time.

Fantastic game - I was watching at home and lost my voice. Even better when you’re the only one in your tipping comp to tip Manly.
I tipped them as well mate . I just forgot to enter my teams this week . I have never ever tipped against our Sea eagles and never will !!!

One of the best games in the history of our game thats for sure feathered friend

The way Des has risen this teams standard from the brinks of last years wooden spoon is astonishing to say the least

The scary thing for all the teams above us on the competition ladder is that we have lots more improvement left in us and are peaking at the right time of the year !!!

Right now as it stands, the Chooks are the only current top 4 team we haven't beaten in 2019.

We beat Souffs by a point in Round 4 at Brookvale.
We beat the Raiders by 4 points in Round 7 at Brookvale.
We beat Melbourne by a point in Round 19 in Melbourne.

As we don't play the Chooks during the rest of the minor round.....we'll just have to beat them in the Finals @

We beat the cocks by 3 tries to one in the second half with a depleted team earlier in the year when we were just warming up for bigger and better things to come

I do not fear the cocks
