I didn't see it, but I assume it was on Fox Sports News? And at a guess I would say the other journo/newsreader was Adam Peacock?
If so, don't stress yourself Mayer. Peacock is a Manly fan, and these two have a good on air relationship. Peacock was giving everyone hell last year when Manly were winning and Elvy took it all on board with a smile.
Maybe it was slightly in poor taste considering the week Manly have had, but their banter is all in good nature.
