A huge thing Manly have had over EVERY team since BK arrived approx 2005 has been Huge aggression, allowing the silky, skillful tries off the back of this....
Well it has wavered big time over the past few seasons, no coincidence - so has the Manly dominance.....
This game is the perfect test to start the season - Eels will come out angry and not lay down - they will need to be battered into submission to earn the upper hand.
Regardless of the result this Sunday - and looking forward to this "No safe" approach from Barrett....but the main ingredient I look forward to is that old fire in the belly....The passion. pride and desire across the field.
A sure giveaway of attitude is the ability to get pummelled by the opposition and walk off cracking jokes, smiling and basically not giving a damn - then to be satisfied at the post match interview.....want more doors ripped off and players to show pride in the Seaeagles emblem - this is a HUGE part of what has separated Manly from the rest and a big part of the hate from opposition supporters....really want to see the boys win back that tag with intimidation and winning attitude on the field - but does this 2017 side have that FIRE ?
