Anyone having a go on the golden slipper tomorrow???

Bloody tough one to pick!

I'm going to box 6 horses for a slice of the big first 4 jackpot (supposedly around 1.5mill) but that's it. It's too hard to pick a winner. I originally had Von Costa De Hero but now that he has drawn 17 I doubt he can win it.

If I was forced to put a bet on i'd probably go with sebring. Has all the right credentials. But this is deadset anyones.

I havent even had a look at the field or draw. I was Von Costa fan too but 17 is near impossible to overcome in the Slipper.

I like Augusta Proud in  the Slipper despite the heavy track, with Hips Don't Lie and She's Meaner for the Tri. Yep, all girl finish.
Princess Coup to turn the tables in the BMW.
George Ryder to see Racing to Win, Desert War and Casino Prince for the Tri.
Tomorrow sees a Prawn Caesar salad with Oysters as the Main, washed down with a glass or six of Croser, so whatever you are up to, enjoy!

Just finsihed studying the form. D Beadman to have a huge day tomorrow. Follow him and you wil come out in front.

Slipper trifecta. I expect Reann to learn how to run the right way this week and be very hard to beat. Hips dont Lie to run a place and although he's drawn very wide, Von Costa de Hero will flash home for a place.

Betting was a bomb. Thank goodness the Crystal Bay prawns were outstanding.

I did manage to get on Heavenly Glow and fantastic to see Thommo win in town.

Nutz was right and Tuesday Joy was way too good and Sebring is a top racehorse and could be anything. My wife backed Sebring due to his Manly connection (two part owners live in Manly).

Weekend Hustler is this season's pick but he has a way to go before I will call him another Kingston Town, who could win at any distance and up to 2 miles. Maikato maybe. 6 G1s speaks volumes all the same.

I am really looking forward to next Saturday.

Geez, what a top day of racing!

As I mentioned Sebring was the only horse in the field that you could look at it's past runs and say "well, he will give this a massive shake" Beaten the Class, Won on the track and the 1200m was his next step up. Good win.

Run of the day had to be Von Costa De Hero's... what a freak!! To lose by a half head after breaking slowly from barrier 15. Von Costa De Hero will do some HUGE things.

Hot Danish was dissapointing. I think he should have won that but Eskimo Queen was back to her best yesterday.

Tuesday Joy, well what is she going to do?? She could very well go on to do the same feats plus more that Makybe Diva has done. There is no horse in australia that can beat her 2000m+ at the moment. Absolutely sensational ride by Beadman and this girl is a superstar. She went for home before the straight and no other horse got close. If they choose to go for the melbourne cup with her.. she is the one to beat.
