Aussie women went down 3-0 to germany in the football.


Currently 10-0 half time Aust v usa rugby sevens (men)

The unfancied Aussie defeat USA 18-0 in a tough match.

No NZ...!

Canada just defeat nz in the football (women). No drones spotted.

I kinda feel bad for them, but not bad enough to want aust to lose.

there's been a heap of rugby, soccer, archery..... all before the 'opening' ceremony but I'm assuming they'll still march into the stadium.

Actually I think they are floating up the seine as part of the ceremony.

Anyway... Kenya... ya can't.

Well there was this tea-cup and one day it wondered if it could fit a storm in it.

So it bought a couple of drones.

The biggest surprise for me was learning that Soccer (football) actually has strategies worth filming!!!

I’m not against the Limpiks, it just doesn’t hold my interest.
Beyond what’s on the news I’ve never watched it.

Love the Olympics. 17 days, every four years where you can be an expert judge on just about anything. I do try and stick with swimming, athletics, kayaking/canoeing( Jess is a Fox…cough,cough).

I don’t usually do the gymnastics, but after watching that Simone Bile rising doco on Netflix, I will. I don’t care if she wins, just that she’s giving it one last go.

And the Jamaican woman sprinters…half for their athletic ability and the other for their insane wigs and bling they wear!

Soooo happy Jess fox got her gold, she is a legend in that sport.

Simone Biles is the best gymnast...either gender ever. She has something like 5 different moves named after her. She's such a champ.

Lot's o bling and wild hair around this time.

Aust just thumped Ireland in the QF of the rugby 7's (f) and play Canada tomorrow.

Gooooold for Mollie, silver for Ariane in the 200 free.

America (and canada) still insist on doing that stupid medal table of most medals, not most gold.
