Grand Final Day - Entertainment
ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park
It's Grand Final Day – the culmination of an action-packed, entertainment filled NRL season – with more than 80,000 fans expected to fill Rugby League HQ at ANZ Stadium.
The day will be a celebration of Rugby League with not only the Telstra Premiership Grand Final but also the NSW Cup and Toyota Cup deciders.
And getting there is so easy – all tickets include free public transport to and from ANZ Stadium for the match.
The NRL has scored a major coup with international singing sensation Kelly Clarkson today announced as the headline entertainment act for the Telstra Premiership Grand Final at ANZ Stadium on Sunday, October 2.
America's first 'Idol', now a recording superstar who has sold over 23 million albums and 36 million singles, Kelly Clarkson will perform her new single, "Mr Know It All" as the main act of the pre-game show. "I'm so excited to be returning to Australia to perform my new single 'Mr Know It All' at the NRL Grand Final next weekend," Kelly said.

As well as pulsating music and dance performances the Telstra Premiership Grand Final will feature a moving tribute to retiring players and the delivery of the Telstra Premiership Trophy via the Telstra Child Flight; the game's ultimate prize will be escorted out of the chopper by the 2011 Telstra Ken Stephen Medallist and the 2011 Toyota Volunteer of the Year winner.
The schedule also features the traditional breathtaking arrival of a Blackhawk helicopter from the Australian Army's 6th Aviation Regiment.
Other highlights on the day will include the Telstra Ring Bearers – junior rugby league players who will present the winning team with their premiership rings – presentation of the Jetstar Club Championship Trophy to the Melbourne Storm; and the Holiday Inn Under-16s Relay Final – a long-standing tradition in the Finals Series and Grand Final.
In 2010 more than 3.1 million viewers across Metropolitan and Regional Australia tuned in to watch the St George Illawarra Dragons defeat the Sydney Roosters 32-8. Who will triumph in 2011? Be there when the fulltime siren sounds!

Grand Final Day at ANZ Stadium swings into action with all the colour and excitement of the interactive Grand Final Precinct – and this year it's going to be bigger and better than ever!
When the Precinct gates open at 11am fans will be treated to stage-led activities (a first for 2011) including music, entertainers, comedians and Cheer Squad displays.
The special NRL Stage, located at the Forest of Poles, will include performances from bands Slow Down Honey (2.30pm) and Tonight Alive (3.30pm).

RE: Grand Final Day 2011 Manly v Storm/Warriors Q & A and INFORMATION THREAD

Can I also ask people to monitor my threads / posts and activity on Facebook (MWTS Page) and also twiiter as I try and help as many people get to the game as we can (that are not already organised).

RE: Grand Final Day 2011 Manly v Storm/Warriors Q & A and INFORMATION THREAD

Kelly Clarkson? Wow. That's almost as exciting as Bill Idol.
I'm sure she sang at the GF between Easts and The 'Riff just after she won Idol. Was underwhelming.
We really don't do pre-match entertainment well.
I suppose the helicopter will fly in with the trophy as it has done for many years. The music will be the same. The sound system only marginally better than at Brookie.
No-one cares. Just get the Manly players out on the field and let us watch them entertain. The good news for me is that I have been given eight tickets by two members (one an Illawarra fan and the other a Bulldog) so my extended family is all coming.
I reckon there will be plenty of returned tickets like this. I already had four tickets in the members but would have forgone these if Manly wasn't playing, so I know how they feel. I went to last year's GF and it was a yawn-fest, hoping both sides lost.

Has there been any confirmation of how many tickets members can buy per membership

The Leagues Club is a Ticketmaster outlet. All NRL fixtures, including the GF, are sold through Ticketek. Visit Ticketek.com.au/nrlfinals or call 132 849 to purchase tickets.

Go Manly!

Hey larissa. How do you buy 6 tickets at once through ticketek since its only 2 per card? Do you just enter all the codes at once?

This article is classic Rothfield bull****. The Board at the start of the year all voted on extending Hasler's contract.

"The Manly board also recently voted in favour of offering Hasler a two-year extension, a contract that would make him the first coach in the club's history to hold office for ten consecutive seasons."

This was from an article in June.

So much for the Board not offering Hasler a extension

I'm interested to know the answer to this too.

Larissa, like the others I also appreciate you going above and beyond the call of duty to reply to our queries, as you've being doing all afternoon. Thanks heaps :)

Reserve Grade GF will be from :
Auckland Vulcans vs Sharks
and
Bulldogs vs Bears

NYC :
Warriors vs Cowboys

NRL :
Manly vs Warriors

That's right the Warriors could possibly have three grades into a grand final
