There appears to be a more regular occurance of 'Queenslander' being shouted out around me these days, as they see the mainly maroon plates and their instincts kick in.

I'm guessing until they start to teach reading in Qld schools, I'm safe.

I remember 1972 so well. And 1973. And 1976 and 1978. I was there watching those games on the hill as it was. Great years, great teams. Yes 1972 was a special year. Of course it helped to borrow O'Neill and Brannigan and persuade Reilly to play for us, but what the heck. We won.
