Good to see Norths honouring a time-honoured tradition in the SG Ball.

Manly would be sharing the same spot if it wasnt for the bye.

Tookey, when are you going to get over Norths. Even Ryan has said 'bye bye' to the big bad bears. Time to build a bridge!!

But Mata would be dissapointed if someone didn't react to his bait. ;D

I remember watching Manly vs. The Bears in PL in 2006. We were playing Brisbane in 1st grade that day (bloody Matai passing the ball instead of falling over the try line to win the match!), and The Bears got towelled by around 40+. Have to say, I couldn't have been happier. Billy Slater was well and truly smashed on numerous occasions that day !!

It was pure gold seeing Norths lose the PL GF in the last 30 secs.....Predictable but gold.

And the look on Ryan's face.....priceless. :)

While I am a Manly fan now it is funny how the mere mention of Norths still stirs up such hatred even today.

The passion and absolute hatred towards each other made the local derby such great games each year and I do miss them.

It was a pity that manly weren't as competative against Norths in the years leading up to the merger.

Obviously literacy was optional among the Bears supporters.

let's try "as competitive against Norths in the years leading up to the merger"

Doesnt matter that the content is rubbish, at least the sentence is readable.

Oh Dear, Ryan weighs in. Talk about fighting out of your weight division.

Getting sledged by you is like getting slapped with a dead fish,

oh and BTW you don't need a space between the owned and the !.

At least Melbourne produce a team.  All Norths could field was a rabble.

Funny how that rabble beat Manly 28 to 16 in the 1991 semi final.  If Norths were rabble that year then Manly must have been rubble?

Manly had the best talent that money could buy in the nineties but come up with very few grand final wins.  Was that why they called their coach bozo?  Or was it because he put his son in the first grade team every week?
