Noticed in tonight's media that Melbourne report that Ryan Hoffman has had surgery on his troublesome ankle and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Melbourne, from players to coach, to CEO, are a club that has had an extraordinary number of things go their way. They take the good and you dont see them thankful for it.

Their bench looks very weak in comparison. Instead of having Jeremy Smith and Sika Manu coming on after 20 minutes, they now have Scott Anderson (neville) and Aiden Tolman (good talent, but still very raw, and not a great threat compared to Sika who is a gun).
