Hopes for 2019

What this group lacks is discipline, mental fortitude and grit. They make dumb mistakes time and time again. They need an environment that will challenge them and bring out their best. Cartwright can’t do it because the players see him the the same way they see Barrett. This is the fork in the road where the wrong decision will in all likelihood be the beginning of the end.

I hope we sign Maguire as coach.
I hope we bring in Ballin and Kite in sort sort of capacity to instill some real 'Manly Spirit' into the team.
I hope we pick up some wingers with speed and who can catch a high ball.
I hope Elgey learns to defend.
I hope Tommy T learns how to draw and pass to his outside men.
I hope Kelly finally sees some early quality ball for once.
I hope Sirro has an injury free season.
I hope Api has an injury free season.
I hope Brookie returns as 'the Fortress'.
I hope the team realizes the &*%$ they dished up this season is unacceptable and they need to man up and play like they have pride in the Manly jersey and some respect for the fans.
