Also he seems to dwell when picking up the ball for a fraction. Seems like he struggles to grab hold correctly. Surely the coaching staff have noticed this weakness ?

I've been screaming about this for weeks. That half second delay in passing means the pass is half a yard behind brown, who I don't blame for dropping it. Name me one great hooker in the history of the game that held the ball still for half a second before passing it. Isn't that what coaching is about. See a weakness in a player and help them improve. The guys got potential, but seriously, ditch the pause.
