If Manly don't win the GF then I hope Melbourne do because they have been the best team by far. While I don't like Melbourne I admire the way they are always in the contest, rarely having an off day/night. They also don't buy many established players, unlike Doesn'tmatta. No other club has been as consistent as Melbourne, and I'm sure they will be good again next season when they unveil a new crop of youngsters. Whoever does their recruitment has the best eye for talent in the sport.

Yes they've developed some players and improved some journeymen - and yes nowadays some players will accept less just to go there - but they've also had the pick of the crop to work with.

That's what i was thinking. A massive wankfest over this '12 years of dominance' and yet they only have 1 premiership whilst under the cap........
Haven't they also only converted 1 out of 5 minor premierships into premierships? More like chokers than champions.
