We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.
Dan decided we weren't true supporters so axed it.

Dan is also taking all the "I want to root Brett Stewart" Thread suggestions, to test them out in Amsterdam 
Yeah when we moved over from hacking I didn't re-enable it. I wanted to see how the site was running under load without adding another query per post per page (potentially another 20 queries) to display the badge. I will need to find a better way to manage it unfortunately
