Manly coach Des Hasler says all three of his injured Sea Eagles players will definitely play in Sunday's NRL grand final against Melbourne.

Halfback Matt Orford has an ankle injury, centre Steve Matai a shoulder complaint and lock Glenn Stewart a corked leg.

All three sustained the injuries during Manly's 32-6 preliminary final win over the New Zealand Warriors last Saturday but are expected to resume training with the rest of the squad by midway through this week.

Orford had scans on his ankle early on Monday while Matai will be sent for precautionary scans on Monday afternoon.

Club doctors have told both players that regardless of the scan results they will be cleared to play in Sunday's grand final with the Storm.

"I will be fine. There is no way I'm missing this week," said Orford.

"I had scans this morning but the doctor is confident there is nothing wrong."

Hasler says Manly will be much better prepared for this year's premiership decider than last year when they lost to Melbourne 34-8.

The Sea Eagles held their one and only media session at Brookvale Oval on Monday and posed for team photos.
