Intensity Lift !!

First Grader
Ran harder...played faster....dominated that middle and allowed us to play some decent footy.
Special mention to a few - Parker was Super and continues to improve to a far better player than I thought he could be...that's an egg I'll cop on the head all day with a smile.
Also thought Walker started slow behind a pack getting bullied, but lifted with the rest in that 2nd half throwing some key passes and started to look more dangerous.....Walker just needs to keep straightening as when sideways confuses himself and team mates and the play loses any traction. Tom T also took hitups like a forward when needed to lift his mates and again was inspirational including another massive late play to seal victory.

They hung in, kept their composure and got their act togther. This team has some major character and if that was 2018 we would have been buried tonight.

Levi took a couple scoots and got smashed. One time dummied to a flying Turbo and then lost ground.
Needs to pick his moments better. Oh how we miss Fainu
Yep to be fair, thought Levi has done well early days at Manly...but got caught 2-3 times when great attacking opportunity was on...when you have Tom T screaming for the ball with a 2 on 3 situation down a fat blindside, in fact anywhere - Its TOMS ball...also near the try line with momentum got wrestled backwards...had my support so far but must confess to a few moments tonight thinking if only "Fainu" and if only API was here....I'll give him benefit of an off game, but needs to pick his moments better, as will cost us when it counts

The intensity shows with reaction and 1st half the Manly silence was deafening, but 2nd half a complete different book and there was none better than Tom T making the try saver that last minute....AFB and a few over to hug and back slap him....so important that comradery.....just something I noticed replaying that moment with Tom that was pretty special, a year or 2 back he doesn't stop the try...once Coates has a clear run to that line Turbo does not only come across in cover, but changed his lane North, to move forward so the collision was not 1-2 metres out...more 4-5 preventing Coates a shot at a leaping aerial try which I think he would have maybe scored from that closer range.
No doubt Brett Stewart has been giving these type of tips as Toms positional play in general and chat from the back gave gone up 5 levels....the ability is a given but this type of stuff has already won us 2 games in 2020 and counting.
