I am sure Brett appreciated the crowd reaction & support last week.

However this is first away game and he will face a hostile crowd.  More so being against Souths whose supporters generally have an IQ of less than 50 and also learn words like ****, **** etc before they know how to say Mum & Dad.

I know Brett has a strong character but he can expect a torrent of abuse & taunts - lets hope he is ready to ignore the wise cracks and focus on footy again this weekend.

Hahah, love it.

He'll rally. He's a tough kid. Having diabetes will do that to you.

Insults reflect on the insulter, not the insultee.

If they've only been exposed to black-and-white thinking, how do they begin to think in colour?

You are correct when you say it was a comfortable environment to make his return (Brookie on a Sunday arvo). But I think Brett has enough mental strength to block it out. He is a pretty special player.

Souths have a number of low, low fans. I fully expect him to cop some pretty ordinary taunts. But I also fully expect him to respond the only way he can - by scoring tries.
