The Who

Journey Man
On the NRL website it states: Robbie Farah is playing on a bargain basement deal worth less than $200,000. . . .
Now, I recall the NRL refusing to allow Gifty to play for Manly on a salary it deemed below his true value. Thus, Gifty was lost to Souffs.

Has the NRL backflipped on this interference rule? Do they no longer care what a player is paid?
Or was the rule just introduced to stop Manly's dominance and only applies to Sea Eagles' players?

Who knows. Didn’t the father of some parra player get flown over to see his first game last week and did that count to the cap like a few years ago?

Administration is so amateur in this game. Can’t remember any decision they make.

Greenberg signed hayne for 1.5 mill and parra signed him for 500 k . Its all bull**** from the head down. The lack of shame is priceless . These examples are Fair but the gifty decision was consistent, or fair whatever the challenge

Exactly. That whole refusing to register gift was just plain corrupt.

Bargain basement? Christ I wouldn’t pay Farah half that!

Farah was still contracted to the Rabbids so they would be paying him too.

No way Farah would play for 200k 😎

I also don't get his insistence on playing with a broken leg.
He had his Tigers farewell 2 years ago already :nerd:

But didn't you see the figures released by the NRL??

They declared that the TOTAL amount of TPA's for the Roosters is less than $300k.....fpr the entire squad @:D@:D

I miss the good old days when the NRL administration at least tried to lie and pretend the comp was not corrupt.

F*cking slimy grubs.

$300k for the Roosters!!!!!

That’s just ****ing hilarious isn’t it.

They’ve got about half their team on a million a year so yeah that sounds about right doesn’t it!

While this shamelessly corrupt prick runs the game, there will ALWAYS be differing rules for each and every club. The favourites will always seemingly get an outcome that seems lenient at the least, and downright criminal at the worst....

He’s pissing on everyone else, and doesn’t even have the courtesy to pretend like it’s warm rain..
