How about Starling has he been charged yet? Not for the punch but for illegally wrapping Jackson's arm into his and yanking his own shoulder back? Starling could be looking at 6mths out next season.

Greenberg, Smith whoever, you are an absolute joke.

The lack of consistency in Todd Greenberg's rugby league version 8.1 throws up so many questions in my head. But the main one it all boils down to time and time again is this - are Australians stupid or is it just rugby league people who are stupid?

This has got to be the only professional sporting competition in the world where the lack of consistency and bias is as bad as this. Its staggering. And we put up with it. Are we stupid for putting up with it? Or just the administrators who cause this?

Starling has been told he will not be punished provided that he agitates for a release in the off season and encourages other Manly players to do the same.

Starling's first Weidler interview will go to air next Monday.

But it was a chicken wing.
It was a textbook chicken wing.
WTF?????

Ten showed a recorded interview tonight with Hasler ,Cleary , Maguire and Robinson. Hasler mentioned (with a knowing smile) that the MRC would be deciding Jackson's fate at a location nearby as we speak. It was obvious that he already knew the result. The NRL make it virtually impossible to determine the actual person on the MRC who makes the decision at any given time just to allow for contingencies like a blatant chicken wing with carry over points.

Its more about what are you going to do with it.

Honestly what we are going to see soon is Superleague make a resurgence. On the balance that may have been a better thing really

Even Grahame Hughes on Talkin' Sport was speechless about it.

It was as bad or worse as the ones that blokes were suspended for in previous weeks. Has anyone seen an explanation for the gradings or lack of them?

You'll find one under the bulging carpet.

Just heard Nathan McGuirk on sports today saying that Starlings shoulder wasn't pushed out of the range of movement hence no charge to answer for.

Seriously no wonder the NRL is in such a mess with clowns like that running the show.

The positive of the season being over for Manly is there are no more BS calls to get worked up over by incompetent 'professionals'
