watching yesterday something that disappointed me is that the back of our home jersey doesn’t have a single sponsor.

You would really like to think of this winning continues and a chance of some September action we may get a couple more jersey sponsors on board

Isn't it due to Lottoland being barred from TV advertising ?

This is the final year of their 3 year sponsorship that Lottoland is still honouring their deal despite NSW Gov banning them

Advertising ban was part of it as it took airtime away from all the tax paying Betting Agency ads

I hate the sponsors on apparel. I wish we were like American sports and respected the club colours and brand enough that companies like adidas and Nike threw enough dollars at teams to have them wear their sports-wear.

Don’t nba teams have small sponsorships on their jerseys these days. But yeah I agree kits in us sport are way better.

It's only on air advertising that these companies are controlled.
Much like the cigarette company blackouts from the past.

Which leads to another debate, what’s been your favorite sponsor/jersey combo. Mine will always be the P&O strip from 90/91 era. Loved the jersey and it was the era where I started following manly as a young fella growing up in NZ. Lowe, Ridge, and all the kiwi players. Plus It was the first sponsored jersey I got as a birthday gift. Would have been like 12 bday.

I love our 1972 jersey - no sponsor graffiti just, pure maroon and white

Wish Manly had a cotton long sleeved version of our jersey for the winter months

Just wondering if the club is having trouble finding sponsors?? Are Manly the only team not to have had a free to air game this season? Surely a spot on a side like Brisbane who are on FTA every week would be an easier sell than one who is rarely on the box?? Just a thought.

I believe the Manly Forever signs in the middle of the hill on Sunday replaced the green Lottoland signs which are in full view of the cameras
