@larissa i couldn't remember if I clicked the auto renew on the easy eagle last year so I just went and renewed my country wings to be safe. I won't cop to direct debits will I.

Did you receive a letter from us saying your membership was automatically renewed recently? If not, you most likely did not select auto renew.

If you're concerned, drop the Membership Team an email to ask them to check it out. I'd wait till later in the week though, will be crazy busy Monday and Tuesday.

Yes just checked I did get a letter. Should have looked closer at it. No probs I'll call them Wednesday week :)

The recently emailed link, as well as the one quoted in this thread ( http://www.seaeagles.com.au/membership ) now seems to resolve to the address:

Which in turn appears to be attempting to now resolve to the more weird address:

Which I also thought was strangely complex, but shrug.
Note logging into here list nothing about 2014 memberships.

It seems to be tied in with an NRL-wide site, that, hey, looks just like a nice, user-friendly, functional feature the new NRL administration has implemented... NOT.

On my WinXP Pro PC:

Yea, Firefox 23 for MS Windows is my primary web browser, and (with Ad Blocking active) the page shows very little, none of the package options etc.
Interestingly, I also get this using Chrome 29.

Opera 12 seems to load it OK, and MSIE 8 kinda loads it OK unless you choose to only show data securely which results in messed up header area info & links.

Using Firefox to change my password etc. on the new page is really taking ages for pages to load.

In fact, navigating between packages and the homepage is buggy on all 4 browsers I'm using.

After a quick bit of testing I'm also currently getting similar issues using 3 separate browser programs on our Win7 Laptop too.

It's all very untidy, and honestly unprofessional from a champion top sporting club from which I would expect better.

I might test it from work tomorrow if I remember.
 
This is the first i have heard that www.seaeagles.com.au/membership is not working. Thanks for drawing it to my attention.

We have switched to a new CRM this year, consequently there are is a new URL for membership.

If all else fails you can always visit www.seaeagles.com.au and click on the membership menu item.

EDIT- just checked www.seaeagles.com.au/membership and it's working perfectly for me. Not matter what year it is the www.seaeagles.com.au/membership will always have to redirect to the membership portal url as long as portal site sits external to the club sites.
 
Just tested http://www.seaeagles.com.au/membership here @ work (average connection, MSIE 9) and it seemed to resolcve to https://nrl.secure.force.com/nrleagles/showPackageToAnonymous?clubId=102 , load the initial page then navigate to one of the membership options details OK.

Then when using the Browser's "Back" button the page seems to hang / or take a long time to load, showing: "Please wait while page loads...".

I have just noticed the "< Back to All Membership Packages" link on the membership options details (note it didn't appear obvious in any browsers I've used for this), and using that to return to the previous page worked promptly and fine.

also in struggle town, turned off all adblockers and running chrome & firefox.
i can log in fine and see my name, but beyond that.. no dice.

it tries to tell me to 'select your club' and presents no options to click any further.

trying to click on profile to ensure all details are correct and am greeted with

which funnily enough, shows no error message and a white box with black background.
 
Anyone experiencing issues, it's best you give the Membership Team a buzz on 02 9970 3000. That way they can help you through it, and log the issues with the NRL to be resolved.

Sorry I can't be more help, it's tricky to assist each individual case over the net.
 
i sorted myself out over the phone, but for the sake of fiddling around and being a picky bastard, i've kept trying throughout the day with family members accounts / set up clean new ones.. to get the pages to work and it's a mighty mess. Wonder how many people just give up when it doesn't work? Not everyone knows about forums like this etc.
This week is one where there is potential for many 'impulse buys' and for the site (granted you've passed this off to someone else to maintain, so not blaming the club) to be showing errors, click thrus not working, it's a bit of a joke

once logged in and on any page other than the members portal home (eg profile) :
you can click on membership packages link til the cows come home and you go nowhere.

click on it from the main portal home.. and a Ticketek error comes up
"Ticketek Error
A error has occured and a system administrator has been notified. Please click on the link below to start again.
Go back to Memberships Homepage"

can i suggest perhaps more prominently including this phone number and a "if you are experiencing any difficulties, call our membership team on" because once you are logged in, the FAQ section (where this info sits - and really how many of us bother to read through an FAQ?) disappears and the info is nowhere to be found. one rule of making websites is assume most people are stupid / have little common sense / want everything this second.. not a minute later, so you put the all important info right in their faces.

only browser i could get some functionality in was firefox (after an update and disabling all pop up blockers, ad blockers, antivirus etc).. that said it may work in IE, but i'm not going near that with a ten foot pole...
i've tried on three machines, so assuming its not just a dodgy browser / computer on my end.

While the forum is a great way for us to communicate with fans, it is always best to contact the team directly with this kind of feedback. I can't guarantee i'll always be able to keep up to date with all the comments on here, particularly on a busy week like Grand Final week.

Seemed to work better from home (using Opera browser) this evening, whilst also browsing the options / membership packages on another screen using MSIE.

Renewed my MWSE Country Wings Membership fine, draw me out for that GF experience ticket thingy eh ;)

Also renewed my Manly Football Club Membership, and will renew my Manly Leagues Club Membership when I can too.
