Announced on Newcastle Radio this afternoon by CEO Stephen Crowe - Perry has completed negotiations with Manly for next season.

Other parts to interview:
Woolnough to Penrith
Carmont & Reegan Taner not wanted for next season
Riley Brown - Utility Player in negotiation with Manly.

Knights have made offers to
Justin Toulis - Parramatta
Ian Donnelly - Melbourne
George Rose - Manly

Didn't say Pepsi.... In the Newcastle Herald the story article was confirmed, but I have read elsewhere Newcastle were in damage control and offered more money to Perry. Being the news on radio was 3pm, paper stories earlier... I would think the Crowe interview more current.

More money?

I'd say the damage is done.

This is from an article earlier today.

PROP Adam Woolnough yesterday became the latest departure from Newcastle after agreeing to a three-year deal with Penrith, and his front-row partner Josh Perry is set to follow, possibly as soon as today.

Just 24 hours after representative forward Clint Newton quit the club because of a falling out with new coach Brian Smith, and veteran prop Luke Davico announced his retirement, Woolnough finalised a deal with the Panthers after failing to receive an offer from the Knights.

Perry, who played State of Origin for NSW in 2003, has been strongly linked to Manly and is also understood to be close to completing negotiations to join the competition leaders.

Riley Brown provides depth.

Our front row depth is poor so I say they are a couple of good buys.. although i'm not too fond of Josh Perry.

Smith has lost the plot if he thinks that Donnelly is better than Perry.

justin Toulous spends more time injured than Michael Weyman and they will need a wide berth carrier and an escort to get george up the freeway to Newcastle after he can't run for 12 months.

Sad to say but I doubt that george will be the same player again after his injury.

There were rumours that the Druggos were after Ryles as well. Kinda reminds me of General Hospital.
