I know I said I was taking a break from here but I probably will be on here on the odd occasion 🙂
As some of you may know, I'm really close with Josh Starling (Starlo) and recently he got nominated for the 2015 Ken Stephen Medal!
This medal is awarded to a player who displays all the core values of the NRL (excellence, courage, inclusiveness and teamwork), is a great role model and does great things for his community.
When Starlo isn't training or playing footy, he's out doing charity work for the community. He works at Royal Far West in Manly, which is a place kids from the country stay if they are sick or need help in the city. Starlo helps all these kids and takes them to do activities that makes their week that extra bit better. He even has started his own program there where he helps indigenous youth to become the best that they can be. He's a truly inspiring person.
