His line of clothing will no doubt be the baggy look to make it easy to grab

Former Kiwi Test utility Lewis Brown is set to retire after not being offered a new contract by Manly.

At 32, Brown is a veteran of 10 seasons in the NRL and will finish just one game short of the 200-mark on 199.

Brown debuted for the Warriors in 2009 and played some good football for the club before subsequent stints at Penrith and Manly.

He also played 15 Tests for the Kiwis but wasn’t part of new coach Des Hasler’s plans and is likely to hang up the boots.

Brown already has plans after football - he is bringing out his own clothing line that he hopes will be a success in both Australia and New Zealand.

He could have cracked the 200 game milestone had he not sat on the bench for 80 minutes in one game last year from memory. If you don't take the field it doesn't count as a "game" played.

His greatest moment with Manly was running through a yawning gap to score untouched in the semi-final in 2017 that we were subsequently robbed of a win.

Well done Leroy

Felt sorry for this player , was expected to sit on the bench and come on as a backup for about 10 positions , none of which he did very well.

But don’t worry Lewie, Brad Parker has taken over from you as the new Silvertails whipping boy!!
