After the departure of Sam Williams to the Super League, Lachlan Croker finds himself with a great chance of playing more first grade games in 2017.

Croker made his first grade in Round Two against the Roosters, after injuries to Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer in Round One.

Injuries and possibly representative honours for Austin and Sezer in 2017 could open the door for Croker to return to first grade action, however, he will face competition from new English utility Jordan Turner.

While currently recovering from a ACL tear sustained in July, Croker is making great progress and should be available to play early in the season for the Raiders or Mounties.

Croker possesses a great running and kicking game, which he will aim to continue developing in 2017.

His uncle was a great player, but Locky has only played one game I believe. Scott must see something in him, bit confused by this signing.
