Live games on iPad

Hi All,

Telstra announced last year that we would be able to watch games on an iPad / iPhone etc. Does anyone know what needs to be done to access this.

Do you have to download an app ?

The news article at Bigpond Sport mentions the official NRL app. Unfortunately I can not post the URL.

I'm guessing the televised trials this weekend (call them whatever you like, I'm sticking with trials) will be available?

Might possibly be shown on the Foxtel Go App for iPad.

The package hasn't been released yet and it's different to the Foxtel Go app.

The AFL Telstra app is $89 per season or $15 per month, so you'd think it'd be similar. I was interested in this as to whether it could be scaled up to TV via HDMI but apparently it's quite compressed so the picture on TV is lo-res.

The other option is Foxtel Go which will now include Fox Sports 1, 2 & 3 if it's part of your subscription. You get access on two devices with your Foxtel subscription.
