The amount of stability we have in the squad now after moving on the Fainus, Schuster etc has me pretty convinced that they were more trouble than they were worth. Even if they turn out to be handy players, the dysfunction in the sides they are likely to play in means they will struggle to be competitive.

Reminds me of guys like Cody Walker, Latrell Mitchell, JAC etc. - good players but not worth the hassle.

Those last 3 you mention are actual stars (as opposed to promising young talent), that's why they've been worth the trouble.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's just a baseless rumour. I'd pull out the old, "Surely, we can't be that stupid", but we have been that stupid so many times in the past that I know the Footy Gods would make it happen just to f**k with me.
