NRL Casualty Ward: Ramien 'good chance' to face Cowboys

Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon is confident star centre Jesse Ramien can make it back for a sudden-death clash with the Cowboys in week two of the finals.

The Sea Eagles will be without influential forward Jake Trbojevic for up to a month in a blow to his State of Origin hopes after suffering a calf injury.

Trbojevic was left out of the Sea Eagles squad on Tuesday with the NSW prop hoping to get back within the next month leading into Origin I on May 31.

The club said in their latest injury report that Trbojevic's injury was a Grade 2 strain, leaving his Origin chances for the series opener up in the air.

In better news, Tom Trbojevic has been named for the Sea Eagles as he pushes to get back from a groin complaint, along with Brad Parker and Tolu Koula, who are on track to return early from knee injuries.

They are two of our best players with significant influence on the team in attack (Josh) and defence (Jake).

So I wouldn’t consider us close to full strength.

Reynolds is our biggest threat because he keeps them on track and can direct their attack to our weak spots.
Having our top centres back and Garrick back onto the wing should make us much harder to score against.
If Manly focus on discipline (Keppie!!) and grit then we're right in this game. Love to see us battle out a really close low-scoring affair like the Souths game (but come away with the win this time of course!)

Tom and DCE will be our stars. Focus has to be on defence and discipline (pretty obvious!) but in attack ... use Haumole Koula and Saab.

(Surely our coaching masterminds can work out a way to get these matchwinners into the game!)

Reynolds did a lot of damage and especially kicking wise last year mainly because Manly gifted the Broncs so much good field position . Much will depend on how well the Manly forward line up can match the Broncs pack and surely Manly will not put on such a below par attacking performance as last season also . Turbo was just a passenger then also , just hope that he can be used to best effect tonight . Test of character again just like the recent Storm game , total 80 min effort needed and going to have to lift all round . Really as simple as that , here 's hoping . .
