The Sea Eagles will be without influential forward Jake Trbojevic for up to a month in a blow to his State of Origin hopes after suffering a calf injury.
Trbojevic was left out of the Sea Eagles squad on Tuesday with the NSW prop hoping to get back within the next month leading into Origin I on May 31.
The club said in their latest injury report that Trbojevic's injury was a Grade 2 strain, leaving his Origin chances for the series opener up in the air.
In better news, Tom Trbojevic has been named for the Sea Eagles as he pushes to get back from a groin complaint, along with Brad Parker and Tolu Koula, who are on track to return early from knee injuries.
Manly Sea Eagles
Also, from the NRL Casualty Ward, Manly hub page, there are slight variations to the information regarding the unavailable or injured players and their return periods:
Missing from both of those lists is Morgan Harper, who according to the Round 10 Sea Eagles Injury Report, suffered a left adductor injury last week. He is expected to be available for selection against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in round 11 at 4 Pines Park.
