I am so excited about this one. Can't wait to see the team smash the Sharks and Beau ryan in particular. Carney in or carney out I don't care just win this one.

Some basic Manly stats v Sharks =

* Manly have won 8 of the last 10 games
* We met them once in 2013 & we won 25-18
* The 2 Shark wins (in last 10 games) in 2012 & 2008 both were in the first 3 rounds & obviously neither were when it matters most.
* Manly for 269. Sharks for 164. A massive 105 point differential
* We have the wood (yes give yourself a woody) on these sharks blokes with total games played 81 with 56 wins, 23 losses and 2 draws.
* We have played the sharks at Allianz twice and guess what, they lost both.
* Beau Ryan isnt that funny

In eight finals matches between the clubs, Manly hold a 6-1 advantage with one match drawn.

Overall, the Sea Eagles have won 56 of their 81 games against Cronulla's 23 with two draws.

1978 we lost the first semi, the grand final was a draw, then Manly won the replay. Manly has won every other meeting in playoffs.

I seem to remember the 1995 Final we were gone for all money. Down 20-6 I think. Then Cliffy Lyons went nuts & one try he put Solomon Haumono on his way, smashing Sharks away like bowling pins.

Might have been 1996 Hoppa got in trouble for patting Peachey on the head after he dropped the ball & Manly got a try. Now it happens all the time & no one says anything!

Yes and if we should win on Friday, we want to hope that the fifth Burgess (half) brother, Shayne, isn't playing. He likes to wear a pink shirt whilst blowing a whistle for another penalty against Manly.

Manly are $1.35 and Sharks are out over $3.20 with the bookies so Id say Carney is no chance.

I reckon Lewis is much more dangerous as a hole runner, so they lose something having him in an organising role
