Scoreline probably a fair indication of the difference between the sides , even allowing for the disallowed Eels tries as Manly pretty much bombed a couple .
Maybe not ideal conditions for open footy but really do not go for the more one out plays for the mid range set options when spreading the ball even in a limited way would more often then not get better results and tend to move around opposition defenses better .
Manly "s real strength at present is using the good speed factor wider with good execution spreads, apart from avoiding the additional wear and tear and predictability for one out runners more into the face of the ruck .
Have to lay a bit of a platform in good measure but surely not necessary for the majority of the set plays .
Still a bit limited in attacking impact but gee Jake is still a powerhouse in defence , Burbo solid again, ideal if Haumole can isolate defenders more but apart from his brain snap kick ahead , critical part of the side . Taukeiahao and Bully continuing to do good things .
Pleased that Koula finally got some room to move , needs more opportunity but not going to get it if the play again is mainly concentrated more towards the middle and with one out plays .
Just too sad for words with Turbo "s ongoing injury setbacks
Not too sure how much more the side has to go up a notch or two to get the better of the Storm but will have to be an improvement from yesterday even with a Hughes - less Storm
