Blaming Garrick is a touch overdone. Ricky Stewart summed it up yesterday when questioned why his centres were run over against Kikau and Crighton. Blame it on the players 1 or 2 plays up field why they were allowed to attain momentum.

So has Brooks. Our non existent forward pack. Garrick. Young hoppa. The list goes on. DCE had a pretty ordinary game today sure but the rot goes deeper than one player and if you think otherwise you are kidding yourself.

The turning point was Olakau’atu’s low % pass to Garrick on halfway. It was 14 all at that point and we had all the momentum, yet one of our leaders tried the cheap grab for points, instead of working for them.

That field position gifted the Sharks with an opportunity to put in an attacking kick that Garrick botched for the try. It’s easy to blame Garrick there, but the kick should have never happened. That’s the difference between good sides and patchy sides; they work for their wins. We throw caution the wind and hope.

We look lethargic and disjointed. I have no doubt we are a better team than the way we are currently playing but anyone who says this DCE drama isn’t affecting our on field performance is off their head. The last time I can personally recall these type of performances was back when we have our last big contract issue and you could visibly see the tension between DCE and Watmough. My concerns is it’s similar to how Bronx performed under Spoony. I know we can be better, I’m hoping we can be better but something within our playing group needs to change. No sure what’s it is but I’m sick of getting to kick off wondering what manly will turn up!

Selective memory there mate. There has been about 8 years of this type of stuff but sure it's all DCEs fault.
Do you remember rainbow gate? Playing for the spoon under TB? There have been plenty of bad times to rival this season so far.
DCE is one player out of 30. He obviously has a problem with seibold and the CEO. Today was a poor performance 100% but there have been worse times for sure.

its not the coach. you could employ bennet or cleary and we wont win. the players are clearly not good enough to make the 8, let alone win the darn thing

Jurbo is a great defender but offers little in attack we need a ball playing lock like Dylan Walker.
Burbo has got no footwork and gets smashed nearly every run

DCE should be replaced as captain and during Origin we should blood one of our young halves and if he’s looks good stick with him and let DCE GO

We need buy one good prop, a ball playing lock and another second rower with footwork

Seems to be trying to reinvent himself as a playmaker throwing wild passes & kicking in general play.
Presume it is under instruction, but will regret saying that as I don't want to feed the anti-Siebold trolls!

Watch Erin Clarke play every week. Warriors got him for nothing after he left a few years ago.They now have an elite 13 and it shows in their results. You could see his ability in a **** Titans side.There are players out there if you can identify them , which is why the Storm is the benchmark.

We recruit old cast offs with a comp wide known ceiling ; not even an attempt to identify young hungry guys who won’t break the bank and cost the same as these known plodders. Outside of Grant Nelson and Stefanie the Storm pack and bench consists of multiple guys who came cheap and had the right mindset.

This is the area that is killing us … this craven desire for experience rather than punting on potential. Let’s face it , could young eager kids go worse than the conga line of geriatrics we employed over last few years - it’s farcical. It defies logic.
