Slightly off topic, but it's going to be mighty hard for the guys who've been on the Four Nations tour to be fresh and ready to go next year. They played and trained all through the finals, played a test in Newcastle, then got on a plane for the UK. That's a hell of a lot of footy, especially when other guys have already had their holiday and gone back to training.

"Heavy English conditions" LOL - I didn't see him at the Sharks trial game at Shark park or the trial at Redfern Oval against the Bunnies over the last few seasons!

The UK would have been pretty hard pressed to meet those conditions!

Seriously though, we generally play 2 trial games pre-season, we went to NZ last season from memory (or was it the year before?) and a "warm up" before the WCC game itself would perhaps be beneficial?

(Plus would also be a good warm up for the MWTS before the trip down the East Lancs to Leeds?)

I would like to see Manly play 2 games in England. Hopefully they can take a big squad over & give all the players some game time. The talk of heavy English fields in this day & age is a bit over hyped. It is more the travel factor that will drain them when they arrive back in Sydney.

Typical Ritchie rubbish, of course they should have a warm up game. The WCC game is unique and for the players a big deal. They should give themselves the best preparation possible and a warm up game is an important part of that.

You have to feel sorry for Ritchie, the guy is a complete zero.
And when we get back we will be the fittest and best prepared team in the NRL . Ritchie is a rogue .

Kevin Sinfield will play his 43rd game of the season this weekend so not really an excuse

Most super league teams would be flat out beating the 2011 titans on the other hand

Someone told me there are many ESL players that have cracked 300 games and are still signing contracts. Maybe it's the constant roar of the soccer like crowds echoing and bouncing all round the stadiums. Somehow the noise vibration travels through the air, and the players on the field are constantly in a state of "vibration therapy". It's very good for the muscles and some wingers leave the field after 80 mins feeling the best they have all week. That's why Scotty Donald loved England, and the touchies always appear stoned.

Like the likes of Wigan, Leeds, St Helens, Warrington.....

Know that the bunnies are playing Warrington next year.
Any chance the club might do this yearly to gain a world wide following like Manu and Celtic do in soccer
