Which player doya reckon is going to get first shot at the centre position while skivvy is suspended?

Is Whare fit & training or will trex move in replaced by Wolfy? ???

Saw Whare before Xmas at the calendar launch on crutches with plaster right up his leg, so you'd have to think his chances of being fit for round 1 are not good.

It will be T-Rex but geez I wish it was young Hoppa.  To be honest I see that as his ideal first grade spot (Snake staying healthy of course) and its the reason why I wouldn't have been totally upset if we saved the cash and let Matai go.

That is the thing if you miss the off season you still need to do the work i.e. get over your injury then get your fitness back

Whare has had a terrible run with injuries. You could say he is injury prone  
At 16 he had the world at his feet but serious injuries have knocked him around. Bad luck as he could have made a real fist of centre. Whilst I know it was juniors I saw him annihilate us at centre for Saints one day. You stood there going 'wow" great to get this kid. Seems he spent summer recovering again instead of making gains  :-[

because dessie will use the guy who played the most games for us .. so t rex will get the 1st shot but if  he stuffs up  could be a long season for him with whare & hoppa snapping at his heels..

Bad news about Whare, thought he may get first shot.....shows plenty of potential.

So it seems Trex/Robo & Killer/ Wolfy for storm game. Hopefully trex has been doing straight line drills over the break. Will be massive games for Wolf & snake after not playing for a year esp against storm.

Does Oldfield play in the three quarters? Played well for the jnr Kangaroos. We'll need him & hoppa fit to cover for injuries out wide in the first five rounds.

Dya reckon they'll risk snake rnd 1?

Ive heard oldfield is only a specialist Winger, thered be no way des would put oldfield in at centre. I reckon snake will play round 1, but your guess is as good as mine, id ideally like to see him return rnd 3 at a packed Brookvale oval against the Knights !

Copa, he has played centre b4 but coming into nrl has been moved to wing, I have heard he has really bulked up (in nrl squad) and hoping he really kicks on. Remember his 100 metre effort in toyota cup after taking a bomb, evading a tackle and taking off, knew he had something

The crutches are just a Dessie smokescreen, Dean will be right to go. I would be prepared to bet $250 at odds of 25/1 that he'll play the first round in one grade or another. (Check out Ryan Tandy's Hot Tips site for more details)
