Matt Ballin - The Ultimate Ironman

Whilst we have some unbelievable talent in our team, Killer, Snake, Foz, I just wanted to give a wrap to the Ultimate Ironman...Matty Ballin. I was reading he's now played something like 150-160 games straight in arguably the most workman like position, Hooker. He makes 40+ tackles a game, sure we'd all like a bit more creativity at times, but his tidying up of the ruck for the last 5 to 6 years (without a break) is phenomenal.

Well done Matty, a true Ironman.

6 seasons hasn't missed a game through injury. 1129 tackles last season. 1100 tackles so far this season. Tackle stats are hard to find. Would be interesting to find out what the record for tackles in a season is? Maybe someone could tweet Dave Middleton? @Berkeley_Eagle lol
