New approach to '09.

The reason why the '08 victory was so great for all the genuine Manly Supporters was because the team gradually crawled back to the top and won after the Nrl tried to eliminate us, resulting in years of mediocrity and then finally a victory sweeter than ever.
At the moment the hole we're in is almost as bad as the Northeren Eagles years. The good thing is that we can climb out of this hole much quicker.
Manly will always be a team of high drama - it's just who we are.
Before the fateful Season Launch most of us were probably pretty confident of back to back titles.
Four weeks later that's all changed. Posting one mere win will be like winning a Grandfinal at the moment.
The Manly Sea Eagles are either brilliant or they suck. We suck at the moment but what goes around comes around and this season will get better.
We're reining premiers and everyone else in the footy world is celebrating our demise. The price of success I guess.
Regardless of current times the Manly Sea Eagles are a champion football side and we will recover from this and that's why when we crawl back up to the top (no time-frames here) it will be as sweet as the '08 Grandfindal.

Though current form does remind of the days of the NE. Just leaking to many points and nothing in attack.

Once we start playing 80mins of football, cut out the stupid mistakes and stop giving away the dumb penalties the leaks will stop and we might start racking up some points.

I have highlighted where I think we actually lost the game and I am certain you will see the same figures for the previous 3 games lost.
